Till we’re back here addresses the concept of physical and emotional closeness/distance in an intimate relationship. Pairing poetry and documentary photography, the work explores the experience of heightened uncertainty and yearning which the ritual of bedtime can bring; the immediacy of physical sensations in conflict with the emotional distance between lovers, and the symbolism of returning to each other’s side day after day despite this distance.
